PAS MRO Awarded USAF Contract for Air Cycle Machine Remanufacture

Irvine, California – PAS MRO has been awarded a 3 Year contract from Tinker AFB for the remanufacturing of a USAF aerospace vehicle Air Cycle Machine, it was announced last week.

The remanufacturing will be conducted at PAS MRO’s Irvine, California facility and will include: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, refurbishment, assembly and testing of the air cycle machine unit. The contract has a delivery quantity of 144 units annually and also includes two optional years following the basic three year completion. The total estimated value of entire contract is $2.7 million.

The air cycle machine provides cooling air to the aerospace vehicle’s navigation system.

PAS MRO is a woman-owned small business established in 2003 as a provider of value-added services for the aerospace industry. PAS MRO specializes in the inspection, repair and overhaul of airframe and turbine engine components for military aircraft, ground based power generation and marine applications.
