PAS MRO AWARDED CONTRACT FOR REPAIR OF UH-60 HYDRAULIC PUMP

September 20, 2016

Irvine, California, PAS MRO was awarded a $22,772,275 firm-fixed-price contract today for repair of a UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter Hydraulic Pump. The contract, which has a requirement for 500 minimum and 3000 maximum units, is a small business set aside - PAS MRO is a woman-owned small business. The repair will be conducted at PAS MRO's 11,000 sq. ft. facility located in Irvine, California.  PAS MRO current workforce is at 18, but will be adding additional technicians and staff to support this contract.

Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

Irvine, California - PAS MRO will be showcasing its Bearing Return To Service (BRTS) operations at the 2016 MRO Americas conference in Dallas, Texas. The conference exhibit hall runs daily from Tuesday, April 5th – Thursday, April 7th at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas.

Bearing Return To Service is PAS MRO's brand for Bearing Level II Overhaul & Level I Inspection of airframe, accessory and engine anti-friction bearings. This event will be focused on Commercial Air Transport Engines. PAS also has capabilities for PT6 engine, Honeywell engine, Bell Helicopter, RR250 engine and MD Helicopter platform bearings. PAS MRO is MD Helicopter approved for Level II bearing overhaul.

PAS MRO GRANTED EASA CERTIFICATION

Irvine, California - PAS MRO, a World-Class independent bearing inspection and overhaul company, has been issued a US Approval Certificate by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This EASA Certificate grants PAS MRO approval as a Part-145 maintenance organization to maintain products listed on their FAA Air Agency Certificate and associated Operations Specifications. PAS MRO's FAA Part-145 Repair Station Certificate/Operations Specifications allows them to perform inspection, repair and overhaul of aircraft airframe and powerplant anti-friction ball and roller bearings.

The European Aviation Safety Agency issued PAS MRO the Certificate (No. EASA.145.6544) on April 25th, 2014.

PAS MRO AWARDED CONTRACT FOR UH-60 ROTOR BLADE TIP CAP OVERHAUL

April 29, 2014

Irvine, California - PAS MRO, a Woman-Owned Small Business, has been awarded a 5 year contract from the US Army for the repair and overhaul of the UH-60 Helicopter Rotor Blade Tip Cap.

The maximum potential value of the entire contract is $6,365,650.00.

Repair & Overhaul of the Tip Caps will be conducted at PAS MRO's Irvine, California facility and will include: cleaning, inspection, refurbishment, replacement of damaged components, composite repair and testing. The contract has an initial year delivery quantity of 20 units, with an estimated annual delivery quantities of 1585 units for the following years.

PAS MRO's Irvine California facility is currently 6727 square feet dedicated to inspection, repair and overhaul operations. They will be adding an additional 4300 square feet of operations by July 1, 2014.

 

PAS MRO APPROVED AS REPAIR SUPPLIER FOR MD HELICOPTERS

PAS MRO has been approved by MD Helicopters as a repair source for anti-friction bearings for the MD Helicopter fleet.

PAS MRO’s provides Level I (inspection) and Level II (overhaul) repair of anti-friction bearings for airframe, accessory & engines. The MDHI approval encompasses airframe and accessory bearing inspection, repair and overhaul.

The MD Helicopter approval is PAS MRO’s initial OEM approval.

PAS MRO AWARDED CONTRACT FOR UH-60 STABILATOR LINEAR ACTUATOR OVERHAUL

Irvine, CA – PAS MRO has been awarded a 5 year contract from the US Army for the overhaul of the UH-60 Helicopter Stabilator Linear Actuator, it was announced last week.

The total estimated value of entire contract is $4.5 million.

Overhaul of the actuators will be conducted at PAS MRO’s Irvine, California facility and will include: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, refurbishment, assembly and testing of the linear actuator unit. The contract has an initial year delivery quantity of 200 units.

PAS MRO’s Irvine, CA facility is 6727 sq. ft. dedicated to inspection, repair and overhaul operations, with an additional 3000 sq. ft. available for expansion of capability.

PAS MRO Signs Long Term Agreement with Boeing

Irvine, California – PAS MRO has signed a Long Term Agreement (LTA) with The Boeing Company for the repair and overhaul of bearing assemblies. The three-year, strategic-sourcing agreement provides the option for various Boeing programs to utilize PAS MRO for bearing assembly refurbishment.

Any work ultimately contracted under the LTA would be conducted at PAS MRO’s Irvine, California facility, and could include cleaning, inspection, refurbishment and overhaul of bearing assemblies.

PAS MRO Awarded USAF Contract for Air Cycle Machine Remanufacture

November 5, 2009

Irvine, California – PAS MRO has been awarded a 3 Year contract from Tinker AFB for the remanufacturing of a USAF air vehicle Air Cycle Machine, it was announced last week.

The remanufacturing will be conducted at PAS MRO’s Irvine, California facility and will include: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, refurbishment, assembly and testing of the air cycle machine unit. The contract has a delivery quantity of 144 units annually and also includes two optional years following the basic three year completion. The total estimated value of entire contract is $2.7 million.

The air cycle machine provides cooling air to the air vehicle’s navigation system.
